Scuba Toys is Second Best

I woke up this morning to a note from Joe and Larry, wishing me a Happy Birthday. I thought ‘Huh…that was pretty nice’. I didn’t realize the Boys lost any sleep over me, but, it was MY birthday.
When I got out to the kitchen there were the wife and kids, coffee poured, big smiles, “open my card first daddy” etc. It was then that my Gorgeous, Gracious, Wonderful wife surprised me with a dive trip to Catalina Island in two weeks. Everything was already taken care of, dives booked, hotel, transportation, even some free time that I could fill with whatever.
She has made a few comments recently about “my little dive buddies on the computer” but isn’t jealousy a wonderful thing when she will ONE UP Scuba Toys this way?

So Joe and Larry, here’s your chance to get even. I’m sure I am going to need some new gear for the trip. Although I heard that some of the folks from the Women’s Issues were going to come over and sing “Happy Birthday” later. It could be a three way competition before long!

PS Ellen just got home with a car load of beer. She’s bringing the heat.

You have a great wife, most couples I see battle over scuba, I can't quite figure out why anyone wouldn't want their spouse to do something that they love! But the trip is over and above.
