I didn't know about Scuba Toys until pretty recently, but the number of positive comments on Scubaboard got me over here to take a look. I live in an area with no LDS, so I'm disadvantaged in not being able to see, touch, and feel any gear I'm considering. I found what seemed like an untouchable deal on a Zeagle BCD, regs, guage combo on the website of one of the internet "bargain basement" high volume shops and thought that NOBODY could match that kind of pricing. But because of the ST price match policy and especially because of the ST rep for high quality and sevice I thought that I owed it to myself to at least TRY to get the same deal from a better shop. I called the 800 number and Rick took the call. Best customer experience I've had in YEARS! Not only did he say that he could match the price, but he spent at least a half hour with me helping me make the final BCD choice( after much mulling I chose the Brigade over the Stilleto). Because I couldn't compare them in person he described every difference and consideration in great detail. I could really tell he wanted to help me make the right choice, and was in no hurry to just close the deal and move on to the next. By the end of the call, I knew I had made the right choice, and was ecstatic about the price and value. I ended up with a package that was MUCH better than what I though would fit in my budget. I couldn't be happier. To top it off, after doing a little more soul searching and wife placating, I decided I might have enough money left over because of the great price on the BCD-regs combo to buy the computer I really wanted, but figured was financially out of reach. I found the lowest internet price on an Oceanic VT3 from another bargain basement high volume seller, called again this morning and slid it past Larry, and he matched it! Man, I'm pumped. In short, I was able to buy more, better, equipment than I thought was possible on my limited budget, and perhaps more importantly, to buy it from an authorized dealer with full warrantees, and truly incredible service. Rick, thanks for all of your time and well considered advice, you rock dude. Larry, thanks for the unbelievable deals. I'm heading off to Bali at the end of the month, and I'll be diving my dream rig thanks to you guys. I'll post a dive report when I get back, Gordon
