Thanks to Larry for his post "updated info about this site".

A very friendly post about not wanting to see the "Go use search". I've never been a fan of that reply, as a forum is meant for members to interact with one another, and should not be considered a "library".

Yeah the "go use search" thing kind of negates the whole purpose here. Part of the fun is getting new perspective, even on topics that have been covered before.... Never know when you're going to learn something new..

Larry and Joe always seem to be going a step above everywhere else. It's a wonder how they even find time to dive. Keep up the good work. It's nice to be here and get information without the attitude.

Got to tip my hat to them too. Running a board like this requires a significant financial and time investment. On top of that they're handing out gift cards to those of us who post. They definitely think about the long term customer and not the short term sale which is very refreshing to see. I wish more companies would work this way.

Sometimes the search function is spot on, and sometimes you end up sifting through so much when you just have a quick - or more specific - question. And it's also good to bring up older topics every now and again as you get different people replying as well, so a while new perspective on things.</DIV>

Sometimes people expect you to know things, things that may or may not be basic, and I can feel like an idiot asking some questions.
