Talking Great Support, even in Australia!

Well I too am now well and truly sold on the Scuba Toys way of doing business. I have just bought my first set of scuba gear through them and service has been great even though I reckon Joe hates having me on the phone by now.

Firstly I got a Nemo Excel but wanted to swap it for an Atom 2.0.
"We're easy" says Joe "just send it back".
So I did, then I say "oh but this place is doing the Atom cheaper".
"We can do that too" says Joe. And he did.
Then the first Atom 2.0 I got did some weird stuff, I think I spoke to Rick that time and he had the replacement in the mail before I even had the faulty one on its way back to them and they paid for shipping BOTH ways!!.
Then I had what I thought was a problem with the replacement Atom 2.0. Joe went through the boxes out back and found that it was not an issue, just to reassure me.

I tell ya, after some "Only buy Scubapro" experiences from LDS's around here, its refreshing to have someone to talk to with no buying pressure, and who are not pushing an agenda, they just want to help you out.

Great job Scuba Toys especially Joe and Rick for putting up with my phone calls.

If I ever make it out Texas way I will definitely drop in and say hi, until then I'll just buy stuff from you online!

Cheers
Dave

Can confirm...my last order took 3 working days to get here. Embarrassing really when I had some gear sent over from Western Australia that took 10 days to arrive.

I'm sure Almitywife will be happy, that is if she hasn't been already ordering stuff from Scubatoys already.

Wow, this store has a world wide customer base. 3 days to receive an item purchased across the world isn't bad at all!

WTH? I'm still waiting for my doubles, DiveRite can light and DiveRite BP/W setup.... It's been years... will months... ok weeks.... or days... Ok! Ok! I guess I need to order first. (I wish I could... I need $$ for that.) :P

That IS great to get a package from Texas USA to Australia that fast. I figured it'd take at least 7-10 business days. Hell, I've bought gear from a place in Cali and it took 6 to 7 days... I'm only 6 hours from ST, I wouldn't be surprised if I got it the nxt day.

hey,
it's great to hear this feedback. i haven't ordered anything yet, but was a bit concern about the support i'd have from a shop at the other side of the world. less concerned now.

and like jba2905, i too would like to know what's the postage cost.

cheers,
f

p.s. i'll be in melbourne tomorrow for some business - love the city but there's no place like home!
