LP has a complete set made by H2Odysessy, but it's upwards of $600 bucks. Every now and then you see them on Craigslist or EBAY. but they are so popular they go fast. SASY stand for something like "surfaced air supplied youth". It's basically a youth BC that is stuffed with foam like a life jacket so the youth can't go underwater. then you put a 13cf or 19cf pony bottle on the back and a reg. Oceanic, Aqualung, etc sold these as a "setup" for many years. The reg as a smaller mouthpiece and the pressure gauge was basically "Green", "Yellow", "Red" for how much air was left. It had no octo or no inflator hose to keep it simple (and to keep other kids from breathing off the octo). It is basically snorkeling from the surface using a regulator, so the kids can "be cool like dad" using SCUBA in the pool (without going under). Here is an example pic ![]() |

It's amazing that they get that much for these things "used". but I guess there is a limited supply of them. |

Just take a pony bottle bag, sew it onto the back of and standard life jacket and you have one for less than $50.
Get a small mouthpiece to replace the adult sized one and let them use the octo on your back up regs as octo's are usually lighter than 2nd stage regs. |
