How young can you be to get open water certfied?

Cressi has some xxs bcd's that I have put on some pretty small 10yr olds. Its not to bulky either. I would recommend looking at them.

My daughter did a 1 week scuba summer camp when she was 10, did her OW dives at Dutch springs in 7mm with a 80 al tank, she really only needed help getting up and down the very slippery slope.

As for fit, I bought my middle son(16) and daughter(11) Dive Rite Transpacs. they have a very nice sizing range so they are adjustable (my son went from 5'9" to 6'1" since I Bought it and with adjustment it still fits fine). He has since finished Rescue with me, and the 3 of us spent a week in Key Largo last year. My older son has a BP/W and has grown 3 inches since getting it, again no problem adjusting.

The real thing is the 2 transpacs and the bp/w were all bought used on ebay for less than $200 total. I bought brand new regs, but bc's are a lot easier to ensure good working order, than regs.

And yes she did here scuba school in the transpac, no problem.
