B-29 update!

The National Park Service has awarded two Commercial Use Authorizations to provide guided SCUBA dives on the B-29 site within Lake Mead National Recreation Area. The authorizations were awarded to Xtreme Scuba of Ventura, California, and Scuba Training & Technology, Inc. of Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The authorizations are effective for 1 year beginning on June 15, 2008.

Very cool. Thanks for the post. My brother-in-law and I brought up the B-29 a few weeks ago and stated it'd be a good fun dive to do. We "kidded" (not really) about going to Vegas for "man time".... at least the wives think we were kidding. :P

Thanks again.

Michael

That's cool... how deep is the B-29 (now that the lake is so low) I expect to be in Vegas for a conference in October....would be a nice side trip.

The B-29 is in approximately 140 feet of fresh water.

Minimum certification is Advanced Nitrox / Deco Procedures or equivalent.
