Rechargeable Battery Pack for C8 eLED Plus

What is the right thing to buy for this?

Is it this:

UK Nickel Cadmium Rechargable Pak, Dive Lights, Underwater Kinetics, UK Nickel Cadmium Rechargable Pak

Also, will this work for 220v as well as 110v?

Thanks!

Just buy 8 C cell rechargables. Less $$ and more versatile. I've been very happy with Duracell rechargables.

I have yet one more option, only good for a few hours of runtime (like a few hours isn't enough), but anyways, buy AA rechargeables, and AA to C battery converters... significantly cheaper than C's... not my option every time, but it definitely works well...

Duracell works, and they're cheap.

If you want longer burn times, however, and better quality, buy some AccuPower or MAHA C-cells and good charger from Thomas Distributing. 6000 MAHA NiMH rechargeables rock.

Whatever you do, though, avoid the UK pack. It's utter crap... NiCad battery technology went the way of the dodo a long time ago. UK should be ashamed to sell something like that still.

I bought the UK pack several years ago. I'm actually very happy with it's performance, burn time, etc. However, I agree it's utter crap. Why?? It's simply not worth the expense!!! I don't regret buying it since it's given me the performance I expected and was good technology at the time. However, now days you can get better (either rechargables or simply good "Duracells") batteries and save money in the long run.

Yes, i think it's duracells for me. Checking the prices, it would take a while for the rechargeables to pay for themselves.

thanks all!

I've not used it much so I can't give a detailed review. Sorry!
But others like it.
that's why I chose it in the first place.

I bought the battery pack 3 years ago with my C8 LED and it's still working like a charme. The place I'm diving in Canada, it's always pitch black (day and night) so I use my C8 LED all the time. My girl friend have one too for her UK Canon and work without any problem. At that time, it was a good thing to have and I still think it's a good battery pack.
