Princeton Tec LED

Picked up a Princeton Tec Shockwave LED light last month and absolutely love it. Did two night dives and was really impressed with the strength of the beam, color of the light (full spectrum) and especially the battery life. Highly recommended for a mid-sized hand held.

Dive spots in WI

I try not to...LOL. Florida and Mexico as much as budget/time allow.

Otherwise Lake Michigan (off Milwaukee or Port Washington), Pearl in Beloit, Wazee in Black River Falls. We have a cabin in NW WI (40 miles south of Superior). Would love to hear about good dive spots in that area (beside Lake Superior being the obvious choice).

If you have some ideas you can PM me as we are getting way off topic.

Thanks for the positive review. How does it compare to the mini LED?

exact same setup, double the run time...

4 C's versus 8 C's, both use the same power LED's...

I love my miniwave led...

What is the battery life on your mini? (And if someone has info on the larger model, that would be appreciated also)

I own one of these and they are a superior hand held light for the money!

4 night dives, each an hour plus, two deep day dives, each about 40 minutes, all on high beam... still on original batteries, no dimming noticed yet... so, i've got about 5.5 hours on high on the original batteries... according to the literature, they should run about 6 hours on high... I may be mistaken, but it seems like its going to be longer... I plan on taking a set of backup batteries for the next dive though...
