Free popcorn

I was wondering if anybody uses/owns a dive light that uses CR 123 3 volt batteries? Was wondering which light you are using, if you like it and how long the batteries last. Have you ever used rechargeable batteries in it?

not a dive light, but the light I use for work uses 2 3.6v Cr123 batteries, protected cells... they power a Q5 Cree Emitter, measured at just a touch over 225 lumens.... they last about an hour, maybe a little more if left on the whole time... I might only use it for an hour a week though, so, every 3-4 days, I swap batteries... it is an exceptionally bright light, but the availability of CR123's kinda sucks, so, unless you are doing rechargeables, it'd be horrid... even with rechargeables, unless the light you have is significantly lower powered, they are not going to last long at all... The batteries in this size are around 900 maH, which is not a lot of capacity...
