Ah, the good old UK 4D lights. I have one of those that served me well for nearly 20 years. Still sitting on my shelf, if you decide you want to replace yours.

Sounds like the light someone sold you was a lemon, and UK may very well be willing to replace it for you... did you call them to ask?

So, and I mean this seriously, why would I want to replace it with one just like it? Technology has came a long way since that light was made, so I'm not heart broken to give it up as a dive light. It's still a good flashlight though! (on dry land of course)

Mark, the next time we dive I want to try the light and see if it is something I can't do without.

Well bro, I'm sure we'll be diving together again in the next few days, so hell yeah, you can borrow it. If you can't blind the fish with this SOB then they have bionic eyes! I'm pretty sure we can talk Louis into getting you a good deal on one too.

You're absolutely right. It comes down to $$$. If you're happy with what you had, and would rather not spend the money to upgrade, even the if the upgrade is better, then perhaps you'd be interested. If you're tired of what you have, by all means, upgrade!

Depends, of course, on what it is that you're upgrading, and how important it is in the grand scheme of things. I still play with a Super Nintendo, and have replaced the console three times. Kinda tells where my priorities are eh?

It's called a Wii, and you can get a "classic controller" and download pretty much all of the SNES games.

Just sayin'.
