How to attach a UK SL6

I have a UK SL6 and currently I attach it to my BC with clip to a 'D' ring. But it hangs down too much when horizontal (if I'm not using it). I was wondering if there is a more streamlined, secure method to attach it, kind of like a holster. I'm thinking about taking it on an upcoming daylight trip where there may be low light and might need it only in some parts of the dive.

I do the same thing with my lights, but I put a loop of elastic (cut from a bike innertube) on the strap below the D-ring so I can tuck the light into the loop to secure it. When I need it, I just unclip and give it a tug.

Ya what Matt said! However if you are like me and use a BCD that you cant "unthread" to loop the inertube around, you can get a piece of thin budgie and tie it around using a double fisherman's bend and accomplish the same thing. It works great. Now I am getting a PT Shockwave LED so we will see how it works with a bigger light till I have my BP/W set up.....
