Glo-Toob different caps

For those that dive with the Glo-toob, what do you do for the cap? Do you use the standard cap that you receive with a normal Glo-Toob or do you have the special "always ON Scuba cap"? When you buy it from Scubatoys, what cap do you get?

Here's the link to the cap information:

Thanks!

I just use the regular twist on cap... I took a small piece of tape to ensure I wouldn't (or it would at least be harder to) unscrew the cap instead of turning it on/off...

according to their website, the twist cap (the standard cap) is good for 11,500 ft...

I use the standard cap. I replaced the small split ring with a zip-tie formed in a loose loop. When setting up my gear, I unscrew the yoke screw, put the screw through the zip-tie loop, and screw it back into the yoke to hold the reg. I've never worried about t turning off during a dive/

When you buy from ST, it comes with the standard twist on/off cap.

These are pretty cool, but expensive. I do suppose though that if you dive alot, it it cost effective over glow sticks.

I just picked up some glow sticks at walmart from the halloween section, 15 sticks for $5. That works out to $0.33 a stick. Not that bad

They're very cool. Now if only they would stop flooding.

And I use the Scuba Cap.

I remember the flooding thead from last year. It seems like people who cleaned and lubed the o-ring and the o-ring channel before ever diving it, had no problems. Others were hit or miss as to if it would fail or not.

I do the same but with a large split ring... I also just leave mine on there 24/7...
