Back up lights mounting

Anyone else make a hand mount similar to the Oxycheq sock?

Patrick designed it himself from scratch (and while it works well, it does look pretty home-grown! LOL), so I doubt it. Wouldn't be surprised to see knock-offs at some point, though, although the volume may not justify it.

The light socks are fairly flexible in terms of what they'll accommodate, however... are you sure the light you have in mind won't fit one?

I have two of the Raiders with socks. Thanks ST, but a buddy of mine this week told me of a similar one that had a name of "bubble something" I can't remember exactly what it was. I love my raider, and think it is the cat's A$$.

Are you referring to Bubble Seekers? (They've been renamed to Titan Dive Gear) Titan Dive Gear

Interesting stuff, but I think they have a little ways to go before they can achieve any significant market penetration.

Lots of communities have shops that will make all sorts of custom outdoor gear relatively reasonably priced. Find one locally and have them make you what you want.

i just got the 25 watt SCULA at DEMA from Titan Dive Gear
i should be receiving the light tomorrow, but just from playing with the different LED lights at the show that was the one i liked best. Im pretty sure it was the brightest and tightest one there (my personal view from pointing many lights at the ceiling) other then the new OMS LED light. I couldn't wait 6 more months for a light, as im going to need it this sat for sure.

Also i love the fact that i can throw on an extra battery canister later on if i need the extended burn time. I will probably be using it on the 10 watt setting to save battery though, as that was still pretty bright.

I hope to do a review of the light when i get a chance, and will defiantly post it on the forums

Yes, the UK Light cannon is plenty bright. better be since it is a 10W HID...

That said, it is awkward and tiring to use on long dives. a Can light is SO much easier to use and much more comfortable.
