I don't have that specific one, but I do have the UK C4 eLED, & the Q40 regular & eLED.
Both are great lights, and the batteries last forever. I've had mine for about a year and put close to 75 dives on them. I don't used them each time, but the Q40 goes with me on every dive. I have dropped them and they've been banged around in my gear bag, with no problems at all. I've only changed the batteries on them once, at which time I greased the o ring. Thats all the maintenance I've done on them. All in all, a great light. |

I mostly use mine in the local lake, where conditions are typically 5-15ft. During the day they mostly for looking inside boats and in shadows, the occasional swim through, or when going deeper than 70ft.
They work just as well at night. I've used them in Cozumel on night dives where you can really see how good they perform. They don't compare to HID or 12w LED's, but they also are not $500+. As far as led vs. halogen, I prefer led. They produce a whiter light, that bring out more natural colors. The halogen's have a more yellow light. It's a noticeable difference. |

I used mine during murky dives and in clear ocean dives, both day and night. It's a nice light with a very bright "spot" thats great for looking in cracks and crevices. It's drawback is that it doesn't throw a lot of light away from the center spot. There are smaller, lighter and brighter lights out now, but for $20 it's hard to beat.
You really need to quantify what you want with a price range and types of usage it will see to get an idea what any light is good for. Jack |

Very common light, very sturdy (common as a rental light in the Caribbean), very inexpensive. There are MUCH better lights available, but for what it sounds like your needs are, they all would cost quite a bit more. It's up to you how much you want to spend on it.
