Regardless of race/nation: we are destroying the cetaceans.
NYC is dumping all of their garbarge into the Atlantic Ocean.
Japan and China are dumping their crap into the Pacific.
What should we do?

It's not totally trolling.
I was driving over the Throgs Neck Bridge recently, and I saw a garbage barge below. That's the reason for the post.
I thought NYC was dumping their trash in Newark or Mississippi.

Nope.
The East Coast cities send the garbage out to the Atlantic, and the West Coast cities send it to the Pacific.
The recycling efforts on the west coast are something of a scam.
Dude - we have most likely already gone beyond the tipping point. The only saving grace is that man will probably not be able to adapt and will die out. Take advantage of every experience UW that you can. Who knows how long ...
Humans really cannot destroy the world. It will likely continue long after we are gone. About the only thing we can do is knowingly extinct ourselves (and a few million species). Earth will continue on and new species will arise if and when that time comes. We tend to think of ourselves as permanent but in reality we are only vestiges.
As a side thought one could even argue we aren't even the predominant species on the planet. That likely belongs to the ants which not only vastly outnumber us also out weigh us.
