I have a 42" tractor and lawn is about 1 acre. It takes about 2 hours. Now, I have free mowing service...my son think it is fun to ride on the tractor...for now.

old MTD with a brigs and strat riding lawn mower, 32" cut or thereabouts I think. maybe more.

got it from my parents becuase it was broken, rebuilt the engine and now it's good as new... for the most part. My yard is probably 1/4th of an acre maybe? Dunno. Takes two hours with a push mower, 30 minutes with a rider.

36 inch walk-behind with about 1/3 acre in grass and another acre in woodland. Takes an hour with the trim, moving the tramp and blowing off the walks.

No mower...I live in a condo without any grass in the urban jungle!

I miss mowing the lawn...when I was a kid it was a great way to earn a quick $10!! Now I hear the going rate is $40 and all these kids have ride ons! I think I got scr*wed!

you can still do it!

In some of teh subdivision shere teh going rate is 40 dollars a lawn once a week.. no weedeater action, tahst an eatr 5-10 dollars depending on how many flower bed have to be avoided.. the more flowers the higher the costs..

complete lawn care for a house on a postage stamp is running between 150 and 300 a month!

soooooo you didnt get sc###ed you missed an opportunity.. that can be a sideline to afford more gear......
