men v.s. woman when getting dressed

Don't you just utterly hate how woman can take for ever to get dressed. They try on 6 different outfits and ask us how they look if were not enthusiastic they go back and change even if we say it looked good all they say is it makes me look fat let me go and change!

When a woman asks you how she looks it's because she is already self conscious about that particular outfit. If you look at her and automatically smile and tell her that she looks gorgeous....she'll where that outfit as often as possible. If you hesitate, you may as well have said...no, you look fat. Don't bother trying to find out why we are this way. Don't try to fix it. Just smile and say, you look gorgeous. And try to sound convincing.

BTW, please don't flame me for answering in the "Man's Laws"...I just thought you'd like some insight.

Sometimes things just don't look right.

A guy thinks clean shirt, clean pants/shorts and shoes bam! done.

I have to figure which shoes I need to wear in what color, will it be hot or cold, and how much skin can I/should I show.

Who lied to you and told you it had to be clean? There are 4 piles of clothes. Each with sub categories.

Clean , clean enough, dirty, where is that smell coming from.

Clean is obvious

clean enough isn't obviously dirty but its just not fresh.
Sub category here is perma-dirty. work shirts that are now wearable rags. just wipe your hands on the shirt.

dirty is in line to be washed (this does not mean it will not be worn)

where is that smell coming from is the stuff that got left in the bag.

My wife's not that way but whenever we go out with one of her friends she usually gets ready at our house. On those days I know I can sit back and have several beers before we'll even be thinking about leaving. Although, when we're supposed to go out to eat first it can be quite irritating having to wait for her!

This is just not true....My wife asks "How do I look?"
1) I take the time to look at her so I don't get the "you didn't even look, you're just humoring me" response.
2) I then give her my honest opinion.

Those two scenarios:
1) You Look Great - Her response - "You're biased!!" and changes again anyway.
2) I don't really care for that shirt/shorts/shoes, but if you like it wear it!! - Her response - "I do like it" Then changes again anyway...

I was once asked if her jeans made her butt look big - My response was "No you're butt is making those jeans look big though"

Now this was early on in our relationship, and even though I went through about a week of hell, I've never had to answer that question again!!

By the way my wife is 5"1 and weighs 105lbs soaking wet, so neither her butt, nor her jeans look big, my whole point was that it was a silly question..She didn't think it was silly at the time..

I can't see the dress you are wearing in your photo, but I am sure you look gorgeous in it. What do the rest of you guys think?
