I use the Aqualung Quartz series mask. I've found that it has very soft silicone that conforms to my face nicely. I don't keep facial hair, nor does mine grow very quickly, so that helps prevent flooding. However, just to be on the safe side, I do keep my mask just a bit tighter.

I have to shave, at least under the nose, or any of my masks leak. I tried one mask that several people with full mustaches claimed gave them a good seal, however, didn't work for me. And having to clear the mask too often is distracting.

I get a bit of leaking from my facial hair, but when I breathe out it's always through my nose as well as my mouth. Keeps the mask clear, get some good mask honking going on which gets a bit annoying.

That's because he's diving warm water. I dive warm weater, and it's hard to get a mask to fog!
For all you cold water divers, sorry you have to deal with such BS. I hate foggy masks.

I've not had a lot of problems with fogging masks-ever. High powered spit I guess. And on thread, I've got my winter beard started, hope to get a few more dives in.

Go-tee

I found thus far if I shave the top of my mustache that I don't have any leaks. Don't think that I would ever do a full beard though. I have to keep the go-tee though, I have an identical twin brother and my nephews/niece get a little confused if I am clean shaven lol ...

But how much fun would that be?

Well, I do know that facial hair prevents a full proper seal on a gasmask, so maybe it's the same deal.
