Of course, I do believe that this goes for anyone who has honorably served! "Thank you for your service, here's your card and titanium cojones"...But I'm a girl..."No matter, you earned em, let's go share a couple of pints! " ![]()

Service = earned Man Card?
Merely having served does not neccesarily qualify someone for the Man Card. Unfortunately, I know plenty of people who served entire tours in an OFFICE, never once leaving the wire. These seem to also be the people who tell "war stories" in bars about how bad-assed they are, and who get Combat Action Badges because a mortar landed on the FOB near thier office. Definately do not deserve titanium cajones, let alone the Card. It would diminish the value of it.
That being said, SGT Nichol earned his. |

I will still stand by my statement that having served gives you a man card, no questons asked. No matter what the motivations, it takes cajones to stand up and volunteer...get through boot and serve.What you do with it after that is the measure of the man.
