Scuba Skeleton
What is it:
- Medical Skeleton (it's a factory reject, the bones aren't correct) - Used and worn out BC and other equipment - PVC pipe made to look like a tank with other parts for a regulator and gages The "tank" is open at the bottom, and has some internal plumbing. So, you can use your octopus to add air to the bottom of the tank, and the air will slowly flow up and out the regulator in his mouth. Cool, huh? Still need to add a mask, a dive knife to his leg, and a slate in his hand that says, "Ron and Doug told me to stay here, they were going on a beer run, and said they'd be right back...." When finished, he will be bolted to a pole/weight device to sort of suspend him like he's floating about three feet off the bottom. We'll put him near the corner of a training platform in the local quarry for folks to enjoy. Made him as theft proof as possible, screwing, gluing, and wire tieing things together. Some people just can leave things alone. Going to chain him to a structure at the bottom too. Now, if I could just find a little plastic fish to wire tie inside his rib cage, like it's swimming around inside him....

Ha...that's great, Doug! The fish in his rib cage would be a good touch. We have folks contribute items to our local quarries quite regularly. The latest was a 10 ft. great white replica suspended about 8 ft. off the bottom in 25 ft. of water. They even used real sharks teeth in its mouth, and gave him a bloody leg to gnaw on.

There is a skeleton in Lake Wazee, Wisconsin. At about 215ft named "Jimmy Hoffa". Cold and dark, but fun to check out.
