Dacor trainer pro

Is mares currently supporting and/or servicing the dacor trainer pro; also does anybody have any feedback on this regulator. My main use would be as a low cost back up for tropical diving. Thanks

Yes, it's a mares made reg. Same internal components as their other regs. No problem on parts or service. And a heck of a reg for that price.

I got this from another thread about the Dacor Trainer Pro from the mouth of the grand POOBAH!!!
This is basically a mares V16 first stage and a basic mares second stage - with the dacor name on it. Yes, Mares (more correctly - Head Sports that owns Mares - Head Tennis Racquetes, Ski gear, Penn, etc) bought Dacor about 5 years ago, and since that time, all the regs are serviceable - parts are available, and they made a huge quality leap.

I think Joe priced these like that as He has a whole pile of them in the lobby, and I'm on my way to Australia to talk at a conference - so it's really hard for me to stop him. (Like I could stop him anyway)

But it is actually a very nice reg - and at that price - it's an awesome deal.
