Whale Shark encounter

We were diving in Panama City, had done first dive on the Black Bart. We moved over to Bridge Span 1 for our second dive. I had swapped tanks and put my SCUBA back on, but was paddling around on a snorkel waiting on surface interval to pass. Looked down, and did a double take. I raised my head outta the water and told the remaining folks on the boat: "There is a WHALE SHARK down there!!" (dive boat was empty in less than 30 seconds) Dove down and spend 30 mins hanging out with the coolest creature I have ever encounted underwater. He had no concern with our presence, actually seemed to enjoy our interaction.

Right place, right time. Really nice!

I hope my wife doesn't see this thread. I'm lobbying for a trip to Utila and if she see's this, I'm doomed!
