Nah, squid deco is a slow ascent.

Actually, as I recall from my HS biology, squid normally ascend from 1500' to the surface to feed at night so I don't think they have a deco schedule. No swimming bladder either.

19.5' and 103 lbs? It was a little one.
I agree, that really does look like a small squid. I know it is the length of the tentacles, but still....teeny!

They use the term "Size of an SUV" simply to attract attention. People read the article, read about the boat that went out, and where. The squid is the Length of an SUV maybe... I hate how they mislead people like that.
