Compare Fins

Anyone have any comments about the Mares Volo Power vs. Oceanic V16 vs. Sherwood Kinesis.

I really don't know anything about them, but the oceanics look the coolest.

What is it about these three fins that interests you?

I have not used the 3 fins you referenced. I did however use the Dacor Tigers which were hinged like the Mares and the Sherwood. I did not care for them. Kicking seemed "unatural" and I did not get the "power" I was supposed to. Maybe I did not give them a chance.

As for splits I hjave only used the Apollos and the Atomic Smokes. Both lived up to the reviews I read. Very efficient for me.
If you go split, I would recommend sticking with those two because I know they work and the Scuba Lab tests were right on.

The Apollos are better. More comfortable foot pocket and a little more efficient, but they are negative in the water. The Atomic Smokes are almost as efficient and not quite as comfortable. They are positve in the water however. So, floaty feet; Apollo. heavy feet; Atomic Smoke on the Water.

Actually, a friend of mine asked for my opinion and I didn't know much about those so I thought I would bring it to the board.
