Cool De fog

I went diving at one of Floridas springs, I put that blue 500 psi de fog in my mask rinced it off put the mask on and it fogged up. Then I rinced it off again and put the mask back on and fogged up again. Then I spit in the mask smeared it and put the mask back and this time the mask didn't fog up. What happened? Defog didn't work spit did.

Don't rinse the de-fogging agent completely off....maybe that was the issue.

You can try a small amount (thin layer and let it dry and then buff it out) that works with most de-fog. 500psi and Viz 200.

I'm convinced de-fog is just spit in a bottle. The rule with defog is put it on, rinse it off and get underwater as fast as possible...

When I use 500 psi, I do not rinse the defog completely off the mask. You need to rinse off most of it but leave a little on and leave it a little wet. It is a lot easier to do than explain.

I use Sea-gold, have never fogged on me ever. Just put slime on your mask, rub it, rinse it, and that should work.

I clean the inside of the lense after a day of use with a little soft soap and let it air dry. This has done more to help than the brand of de-fog.

I tried using spit that is manufactured and worked also. I think I'll stay with spit.
