TUSA full foot split zoom fins review

Tusa Full Foot Split Zoom Fins, Fins, Tusa, Tusa Full Foot Split Zoom Fins

I used these fins on six dives this week and thought I'd put up a quick review.

They are light which is great for travel. They are fast. I had no problems with frog kick or reverse.

Against a current both under water and on the surface, I found they were way better than non-splits. You can keep kicking at a steady pace instead of struggling to make each kick.

The fins were size 8-9 when I normally wear size 8 shoes so I found them a bit loose around the ankle. Got a little bit of scuffing on the side of the heel and will try to wear some socks with them next trip.

Overall, I love them.

Red face

My wife and daughter both dive (actually "dove") these fins. When we were at Wakatobi, the foot pocket on one fin ripped right open where the front of the pocket meets the body of the fin. Spare fins available, luckily. When we got back, I noted that the other fin had a tiny tear in the same place. Then I looked at my daughter's fins. Same little "starter tear" on both sides of the foot pocket on BOTH fins. Out of warranty ... trash can material ... which is too bad, because they rate well and they both liked diving them.

I would REALLY like to see you doing a back kick in these splits. Seriously. Do you have a way of shooting a video clip of this?
