Is it too much to ask - mask colors

I like having some yellow gear - I have a yellow Tusa mask with a yellow mask strap cover, I also have a yellow pony bottle...

The thing about yellow is that it is easy to see... One quick glance, and you can make out a person wearing a certain color, and the easiest one to pick out underwater is yellow... When I become DM and Instructor, I imagine this will be relatively important... (although I do not go overboard on yellow)

Here's the deal, I have two yellow, clear skirted masks, and although they are good, in low-vis situations, they are not ideal... for me, they are fine 98% of the time, but yesterday was about the worst vis I've ever dove in, sometimes less than 1 foot... The clear skirt caused some weird reflections due to the low vis, so, I have decided I want a black skirted mask for these times... (not all the time, just part of the time)...

I can't find anyone that makes a black skirted, yellow framed mask... Scubapro makes a nice, well fitting, mask that is black skirt with blue frame, or black skirt with orange frame, but no yellow...

Anyone seen what I'm looking for??? I even once thought about buying another Tusa mask, all black, and swapping frames, but I don't want to ruin my favorite mask if it's not possible...

evil Atomic... damn them... $109 to buy from them direct over the internet, Scubatoys sells them for $89, but no phone/net sales allowed, and the closest dive shop to me is actually Scubatoys, which is a 4-5 hour drive...

argh...

You could always go with an all black mask and then add your yellow strap cover to go along with your yellow/black scheme.

I plan on doing that either way, but our AOW instructor made a good point - we were tagging along with his OW class, and he said it was easy to pick my wife and I out at any time - the yellow frames were an easy identification - he knew immediately who we were in contrast to the class that was assorted other colors...

go for it! i just bought mine from scubatoys, got the blue/black one, cause hubby has the yellow/black thing going on and i'm blue/black. its very flexible skirt, very comfortable, fits almost anyone. sent mine off to get Rx lenses, should be arriving back to me any day now. i tried mine out in a pool before sending it off for the lenses.

Get a yellow sharpie.......or some of that scuba goop or whatever it is called. Or switch your favorite color to pink, it seems very popular now for the fashion-conscious diver. Or get one of the yellow glo-toobs and strap it to your head. Or, get one of those shark fin beanies they sell in the scuba shops in a variety of colors.
