Snorkel fins

I need to get my non diving husband a new pair of fins for Bonaire. He has seen the short little fin's that some people use when we were in Coz and would like a pair. Are any of these short fins very good for snorkeling? I don't see them on the ST web site.
What fins would you suggest for him?

Most of those short fins are designed for wave riding on boogie boards or bodysurfing. We have a couple of pair that we have taken out for snorkeling and they work fine as long as there is no or little current. The biggest advantage is ease of packing; however they are not really even close to a good pair of basic full fins.

So, I guess he should just stick to a basic pair of fins. I wish we lived closer to ST so he could try some on. Maybe we'll have to take a little weekend trip down that way to visit family...and just stop by the shop.

the Oceanways fins are a nice little compact fin with an adjustable heel cup strap. They will fit in a carry on. They come in blue and hi-viz yellow but they are not on the website.

OK, thanks. I'll google them to see what they look like.
