Fins for Frog Kickers?

Does anyone have a view on preferred fins for frog kickers? Either in brand or split vs. non-split?

I frog kick the vast majority of the time (only resort to paddle kicking in REALLY strong currents). I am thinking about getting new fins and am wondering what to look for (I currently have Oceanic split fins).

Thanks!

ScubaPro Jet's or XS Turtle's are a great fin for frog kicker's. They're both paddle fins. The split fins don't seem to work as well for a frog kick. The turtle's are good for drysuits with big boots since the pocket is huge on them. Otherwise, the two fins are very similar.

Same here. ScubaPro Jets- you can do all the kicks and you can back up with them when needed. Great fin in a current.

OMS slipstreams are another addition to the family. They are identical to Scubapro jets, but weight less (closer to neutral). Jets are negative.

You don't really want splits if you're a frog kicker. I've seen people do it, but man those splits are all over the place during the kick. I believe they're specifically made for a regular flutter type kick anyway.

I agree about trying Jets if you're a frog kicker. 90% of the time I frog kick too and I like how stiff the Jets are for it. They really grab the water and give me a good thrust when I want it.

My husband dives Mares Avanti Quattros and he likes those a lot. He frog kicks about 50% of the time and has no problem with the Quattros.

Good point about the Slipstreams Frank...I wish I had know about them prior to getting my Jets, I probably would have gotten the Slipstreams since my feet tend to be a little more negative than I like with the Jets. I haven't given up the thought of selling my Jets on ebay and buying the Slipstreams though.
