F1's are new to the scene and look like a pretty solid choice. Jets if you can fit them, are always a fine idea, else Turtles (depending on size needs). If you need a lighter fin, the OMS SlipStreams are great. |

I'm using the Hollis F1s now, and I'm pretty fired up about them. They have length adjustment points for the spring straps, so they fit either wet or dry boots, and the performance is very good. I feel they are on par with Jetfins as far as ease of performing various kicks, and their thrust/resistance feels very similar to Mares Avantis/Quattros. They are slightly negative.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm thinking slightly negative. Joe also recommended the Hollis F1 except he recommended the size XXL for my boot size (12). I don't see this size listed on ScubaToys website, but asked for clarification on the size.
Thanks again, Snagel |

XXL ForceFins, any of them, although I prefer the Flying Force, the SD-1 Military, or the Excellerator.
The SD-1 Military has the benefit of a completely adjustable footpocket that is massively more comfortable than anything else out there and will fit anything that you can imagine. |

I also have the Hollis F1. I just recently purchased them, and will have them in the water next week (hopefully), along with my new fusion dry suit. I can't say anthing about the force fins, other than they cost an arm and a leg. There's no way I could justify spending $500-$800 on a pair of fins.

I have the Hollis F1's and use them with my Pinnacle EVO 2 drysuit... I wear Pinnacle's rock boot in a size 13 with the XXL F1's...the fit is perfect...
The actual weight of each fin out of water is 3.40 lbs, and in fresh water just slightly negative at -.5 lbs.

Also, pushing a drysuit through the water requires more thrust to overcome the additional drag. Sometimes lighter fins that work fine for wetsuits don't cut it under the additional load, and something beefier is needed. |
