Tusa Liberator Fins

Lost one of my Sherwood Treks and had to borrow my wifes Aqulung Blades for a few days. really mised my Treks Couldn't back scul at all. Anyway couldn't find replacement Treks for a reasonable price so wen't shopping. Finally settled for a pair of Tusa Liberators from ST (30$) for a
thinking that they would do untill I found another set of Treks - or maybe just one - on Ebay. Now that I've tried the Liberators, I love them. They are light, two inches shorter than the Treks or the Blades and manuverable, with enough power to put on a burst of speed if needed and backsculling is a breeze. They are also easy to slip off your dive boots when boarding. A Good choice for those on a budget and for travel.

I've had the same pair of Lilberators for 15 years. They work great. Of course, they were about $80 back when I bought them.

I think I am going to get these soon! Do I qualify for the $10 gift card? I have only been here 2 days but I do talk alot. Hopefully I do!

I will give an update on what I think when I have them and go through certification.

Look at your post count Zanzi... when this was posted it was 14. Send Larry a PM and let him know. BTW, the $10 GC for 10 posts and $50 for 250 isn't automatic, you have to let Larry and Joe know iva PM or email.

Alright heres the deal... These fins look great but they dont fit my 7mm hardsole scuba pro booties, Damn. Any ideas on what to do? Its either the booties are too wide or the fins too narrow. Should I exchange the booties or the fins???

ive used these liberators for 4 years. so far i've been satisfied with their performance.

I would like to try a pair of split fins for regular ocean diving and compare the two.

Well. I ended up returning my liberators. I am a size 12 shoe, and they were too small for my feet. I ended up getting some Tusa Xpert split fins.

I dont recommend them for bigger wider feet.
