I use the neoprene replacement strap. I like how much easier it is to get the mask on and off but not too fond of the buckles on the strap.

My wife picked up one of those strap covers while we were in Jamaica because it had the logo of our resort on it... hasn't put it on yet.
I can't really think of what the benefit would be to pick one up though, unless it had some significance other like the one Tracy got.

they don't pull your hair like the stock straps do for some folks. And the neoprene replacement straps, some people prefer this to the ribbed buckle arrangment for adjustment.

I have a Marsoop mask strap - it's made of neoprene and floats. Also flips over into a protective cover for the mask. I originally bought it just as a replacement strap that wouldn't pull my hair, but the floating feature did come in handy once when it was washed overboard on a small dive boat.

It's funny you say that my instructor had his mask knocked off the boat the day before I dove with him. Then the day I dove with him the people that knocked his mask over board were on the boat........I watched my mask very close! I might order one of the Marsoop's and mail it to him!
