I love my Force Fin Pros, both for local diving and travel.

I used these down in Fla last month. Not as powerful as the Jets or the Apollo but fit into carry on with room to spare. I using the Turbo version not the ones pictured, the Turbos have quite a bit more thrust and are stiffer than the older version. Also they are positive buoyant and you can frog kick again nothing like the Jets or my favorite the Hollis F1 but does work. The Morf-fins.

PS - Also creates quite a bit of interest on the dive boats

The Mares are approx 4lbs for the pair. I think the Atomic splits may be a bit lighter than that. Both would be much lighter than the jets.

If you're currently using Jets and you like them, why not take a look at the OMS SlipStreams? Exact same design as the Jet fins, but made from a durable plastic compound instead so they're MUCH lighter in weight. Slightly stiffer... I know a number of people, myself included, who have come to prefer them to Jets (slightly) for all of their diving.

Thanks for the post CD. I may have to look into these in the near future. I love my jets, but take blades with me when flying.

Yeah, there's about 25? mainstream fins lighter than Jets.

The Apollos however are about as heavy as the SP Jets. Jets are great if you are diving a drysuit and/or doing a modified frog to avoid silting and you need the neg buoyancy. Otherwise ther is nothing magic about them. Big wide planks on your body relying on muscle

I can do a modified frog with my AL Blades, Cressi Garas, Split Fins as well as my Jets.

No experience with the Raptors.

One of our local hunters uses them. She is awesome. Fins or the woman? I don't know, but my hat is in my hand.
