Mask Straps

What do you guys and girls prefer? I really like my Neoprene/nylon strap, but it's a pain to adjust underwater.

I use a slap strap, similar to the product below, but it has velcro. It is very old, got from a LDS that closed years ago. It is unique because one of the straps velcros to the outside, making it very easy to adjust.

I was a big fan of the slap strap till one gave out one day in the water. now I just use the stock strap. Of course, I don't have much in the way of hair since I crop it close, so that's easier for me to do. With long hair a slap strap would seem easier to manage.

I used a slap strap with velcro until I pulled the connector of the mask (tore the rubber attach point). Yeah, I was probably pulling to hard. Have gone back to the orginal strap BUT with a slap-strap cover over it. Reason? Visibility on the bottom if I drop it. As a DM and now instructor, I have searched for dozens of mask on the bottom. The slap strap is buoyant so it is always up when the masks reaches the bottom. And if you use a brightly colored slap cover it is MUCH easier to find!

As with MM DM, don't need it for hair purposes.

When I started diving I had much longer hair than I do now and used a slap strap. Now, I stick with a stock mask strap, but make sure that I have a back up strap in my save a dive kit.
