You are right. the subframe doesn't fit me for the reason you just described. The frameless fits me very well however.

Personally, I dont think $100 is too much to pay for a really good mask. I've been wanting to try the frameless Atomic for awhile. When I bought my current mask, I had 20/20 vision...That was 6 years ago. I need a new mask now with a prescription lens (so I can read my gauges...lol). Im leaning towards the Atomic frameless...

I have the subframe as well. I know what you're talking about regarding the low profile. Even though it touches the bottom of my nose, I still use it. It's a friggin' awesome mask.
