New Navy Seal super fins

Hi there,
Found this article, http://www.timedfinals.com/27092007/...gy-thats-fast/

Aparantly the navy seals have come up with a fin that makes you kick more like a dolfin and supposed to be 150% faster than normal fins.

Interesting, I wonder what gear they've tested it with so far and under what conditions. I would love to read more..

Also, can I salvage one of the rebreathers they abandon?

I have seen a video of someone using this and I do not think that it was a Navy Seal but I cannot find it right now. If I can find it I will post a link.

That looks pretty cool.

Seems like it would be hard to steer though. Also looks like it may be a good DIY project....

Yeah DIY project. I bet if you got one together and it worked, it would be pretty darn fun. That is if it goes as fast as they say it goes.

It looks interesting...how do you swim backwards? Tight turns? I guess its better in the open water rather than tight places.
