I use this:

One application keeps the mask fog free for the day.

One vote for spit. It's always with me and I can't forget it.

Both. I bought one from HQ coz I needed the next day. But after that, I bought a McNett cleaning package from ST, and it has a bottle of Sea Gold in it as a bundle. Guess what, I paid three times more locally than the listed price here at ST.

<DIV>Surprise, surprise! I think that seems to be the norm doesn't it. Even with shipping added on it's still about twice the cost to get things here.</DIV>

<DIV>One of my dive buddies got conjunctivitis from that. A real nasty infection that took a long time to get over, real painful according to him. He is an instructor and used to tell students that this was fine, it worked for him for a long long time. Now he says to avoid it like the plague, the possible risk outweighs the benefits.</DIV>

<DIV>So for all you folks who proudly proclaimthat luggies make the best defog and then rinse in somebody's bucket, just remember that sombody may decide your regulator bag makes thebest urinal.</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>Good point, I never thought of it that way. I have only used spit a couple of times when I lost the defog out of my BC pocket. I am a firm believer now in the baby shampoo. It works great. The only down fall is it is very watery and you need to make sure it is rinsed well before putting your mask on. If not, the water will run down your face as your putting the mask on and you can end up with the shampoo taste in your mouth. This does take some of the fun out of the dive. </DIV>
