Full foot fin choices
I started off with Plana Avantis back in the late '80s then switched to atomic splits (LOVE THEM) about 6 years ago. Am looking into getting a pair of full foots so I don't have to bring boots with me when I travel to warm water.
I've been looking at both the Mares Volo and their Superchannels but have heard good things about the Tusa X-Perts. I tried the atomic split full foots but was unable to get a good fit with them. Appreciate any feedback!!

I wear a women's size 8 and the biofin foot pockets are way too large. :-(

For traveling purposes, if diving tropical, you don't need to bring your boots with you... Also, some of the full foots are a little shorter which helps with packing and weight.

While you can't wear boots with heavy soles, you can buy boots that will fit in a full foot with a very light sole. Depending on where you plan on shore diving, you might be just fine. I'm not big on shore diving (unless I have a sherpa to carry everything for me until I'm waist deep)! :-)
