He's referring to the Omega Aquatics Amphibian Fin

Omega Aquatics

To me, it's a solution to a problem that doesn't really exist. Sure they might come in handy at times - but I would'nt pay for that feature - especially pay a premium for it. I'm happy with my short paddles or just taking my fins off when I need to talk for any given time.

I tried walking in them at the LDS. I guess they are something to get use to. Personally, I like my Split Fins.

I just bought fins with spring straps. Put them on when I was ready. Problem solved.

tested

I talked with a dive shop in Florida and they said that walking in 2 the water or out was a little bit of a hassle because of the fin being in the up position got more resistance.
