Slingshots?

My LSD carries AquaLung Slingshot fins, I was wondering if anyone tried them. I read about how they work, and played with the bands on them.. they seem really strange! Has anyone tried them out? What did you think about them? I heard the snap of the bands is distracting

I don't mean to spam with multiple fin postings.. but I really must know. Heheh

I did it plural.. maybe that's why

Cause they're freakin expensive! Im plenty happy with the propulsion and maneuverability 50-100$ fins provide

Are they? I did take notice that the price tag was NOT on display at my LDS, which of course means I didn't dare ask LOL. People there seem to go nuts over them though, they must have nice jobs.. hehe

People who work at LDS's frequently get gear at dirt cheap prices so they can demo it and rave about it to customers. Sell it as part of a big package of gear, and many people don't even notice they just purchased absurdly expensive fins.

I've for sure seen those packages, I think I'd only trust ST here to not rip me off.. LOL

I would not dive with anything but my Force Fins. I have tried many other types of fins over the years and the Force fins are great. I do wear my Mares with the drysuit and am always reminded how much I love the Force Fins
