No problem other than cosmetically. I have a REALLY yellow mask that is 20 years old. Works fine, looks like cra*.

one of the instructors at the LDS uses a mask thats about 18 years old, for pool only, yeah, it's really yellowed, but it still works, and seals like new.

If the discoloration is a white, cloudy film, try using Crest standard toothpaste on it. I did mine the other night and it looks brand new.

This will also help to de-fog it while underwater.

I use Dawn dish soap. It works great at reducing the yellow tinge.
