Musty mask must be must-free

OK, so a friend has lent me a nice Tilos mask...but it's been sitting in a basement for a couple of years and it has "that" smell. I can't try it on yet. Can I soak it in a weak bleach solution without damaging the silicone?

I would say soak it in warm water and clean it with mild disk soap. If that does not work to your like try bleach, but make sure to dilute it with water. Just remember after you soak it in bleach it may have a bleach smell vs. musty basement smell. A smell for a smell?

warm soapy water. or some water with mouthwash? people use mouthwash in their BC bladders, so it cant be bad.

iv heard of pepole using coffee to take bad smells out of stuff maybe put it in a closed container of coffee

I vote for starting with mild dish soap and tons of warm water to start, use an old toothbrush on the seam between the glass and the inside silicon. Don't forget to get the outside of mask as well.

Also, look at the strap carfully. If it's been sort of ngelected, the strap may need replacing.
