I have a liquidskin mid size (blue) that I have been thinking about selling. It was only used for one ocean dive if you are interested

The Frameless was a pretty sweet fit, at least in the shop. If the shop will guarantee it fits in the water, I'll probably go ahead with that one in the long run. You might want to try that one if you haven't yet. It's not split lens, but the mid sized one fits me great.

I have tried both the Atomic frameless mid and the Liquid Skin Mid. The fov is a better on the frameless, however the liquid skin is much more comfortable.

I'd hate to buy a mask without trying it, although I'm getting the impression from comparable ones I've tried that there's a good possibility of it fitting. If it's ridiculously cheap, I'd probably go for it but since it's next to new I doubt that. Still, pm me with a price and maybe in the meantime I'll get an opportunity to test one out locally in the meantime.

I've had good fits with a number of different frameless masks. I've used the Scubapro and a few generic knockoffs. Maybe my face is just easy to fit or maybe it's the design of the masks, I don't know. I've heard many people who have raved about their Atomic frameless.

I don't think there is a "standard" as far as return policy, you just have to ask the store about it. Let them know you just can't throw that much money at a mask only to find out it leaks on you.

From what I've read, the Scubapro Frameless works better for a medium-large face. But I haven't seen one in the area to try yet.

I can see why they rave about the Atomic though. Since they have a normal and a medium fit, I'd assume they can fit just about anyone, and the skirt is soft enough to seal just about anything. I trim my mustache back a bit before trying any masks out. Some masks may require me to trim more, but the Atomic seemed to seal just fine. And the FOV was awesome.
