Update on Table Rock

So, how is Table Rock? Is it clearing up? Has the water lowered? Does it look like it will be divable some time this year?

I went out to Dewey Friday. It's still up to the steps, and they've got all the gates closed now. I didn't have my gear, but I waded out a bit, and actually the vis doesn't look too bad (for Tablerock). I think it's probably as good as it was last fall. As it evaporates down and settles out a bit, I'd think by mid to late June, it'll be ok. If our schedules permit, we're going to do a dive in a couple of weeks and check it out. The water temp was up to 64! That surprised me!

Is that top of the steps or bottom of the steps?

Ha! The one time I didn't take pics! At the concrete steps, just the top 6 or 7 were above water, and where the metal railing turns to the right, they're still under. Make sense?

I bet you can hit 200 feet at the dam now, too!

There are places near the dam that are always well below 200. I found a spot on sonar at about 235, but I'd have to search it out again to remember exactly where it was. There are also a few "holes" out near Kimberling that I'm told are beyond 200.
