I know that the vis there is pretty poor, my local quarry is much better and I suspect that's where most of my diving will be. When it costs me $200 to go down there and dive the weekend you really can't justify it for 3 feet of vis when I can spend $30 and get the same thing and it only takes 2 hours driving.

I will be back down of course.

From what I've gathered, the vis at TR (barring any more hurricanes of course) will be awesome from November through February. May be worth your drive then Matt. I know one thing, I've got a DS now, so I'm not going to miss it again this winter.

I was really hoping you could be there. Believe it or not it was improved greatly from yesterday. Virtually no wind, no chop, and pretty much glassy smooth water. That made a huge difference in vis I guess.
