Klondike Park quarry

Has anyone tried to gain permission to the quarry in Klondike Park of Highway 94 near defiance as I have heard that it could be interesting?

I thought about this place too. I do know they had a rockslide there over the summer that shut the park down for a bit. Not sure how things are going now.

I've never heard of that quarry,do you have any other information on it?

Here is a link to the county parks website with info on the spot. The quarry was used to extreact silica sand. Take a look.
