Table rock lake dive sites

Hey has anyone ever dove spoonbill bluff at table rock? Was it cool? What Other sites has everyone hit? I've dove: duck island, breezy point, the saddle, Zebulan pike, and the cabin cruiser.

I've dove the same. This weekend I did some shore diving at Dewey Short by the State Park. Previously, dove Moonshine Beach. Quick dives. Definately need a boat to see what the lake has to offer. Would love to dive the old Kimberling City Bridge, but not comfortable with the depth right now.

How was the vis this weekend? I bet it was pretty busy.
How deep is the bridge? Where on the lake is it?

I am not sure how deep the bridge is but here is a good earth link. I think that the bridge is around 90ft. Just a guess though.

The bridge dive is a deco dive IIRC. Some guys on TDS are planning a dive on it and to the river channel below. They are using helium and accelarated deco. You might want to train a bit more for it.

I think that the top of the bridge is about 100-110', bridge deck at about 140', and the river bed at 175'. You could do the top of the bridge, or the deck w/o deco, but your stay will be VERY short.

Considering you get about 19 minutes for the dive at 100 feet which is the top of the bridge and you will spend 3 or 4 minutes going down you'll have about 15 minutes to explore the top of it. Go down deeper and it decreases to 9 minutes at 130 feet. That would give you 5 minutes to explore the deck.

Then it's time to head up. Remember per tables you count dive time as the time from starting the descent to the time you start up, and that's it. A computer would give you a bit more time but not much because it's a pretty square profile.

A deco dive is actually in order here if you wanted to really check it out. You don't need trimix or anything, just advanced Nitrox and do a deco dive.
