It makes it more comfortable, and warmer. They are probably the warmest suits I've experienced for the same thickness... In fact their 3 mil pretty much will stack up against a lot of 5's.

Do they have one just like this, but with an attached hood? I'm done with cold water wetsuits that don't have attached hoods... one more thing to have to mess with. If it's cold enough for a 7mm, I'm definitely wearing a hood.
