After reviewing the measurement again, I have found that the Turtles are about 1 cm larger in both directions. I measured inside and Aussie from the outside. Forgot to mention the booties size. Eur 43/ US 10.
Trying the booties on a jet fin for comparison is maybe best, since they are mostly wide spread and easy to get a holed of. Will try A.S.A.P mine with Jets and see what size they will fit. All best WolfY |

I just tried these fins for the first time the other day, and I'm blown away! I tried hard to find something I wish were different about them , but these are one of those rare products that exceeded every expectation I had. Not only do they look like the fins Batman himself would use if he were a diver, but they perform like it.
I've long been a fan of the power and acceleration of Mares Avanti series fins, but I've never been able to use them with my large drysuit boots, and they don't quite live up to the likes of ScubaPro Jetfins or Turtles when it comes to precision maneuvering. The Hollis F1s have the best of both worlds in spades. Effortless acceleration and great sustained flutter kick speed along with the kind of control that facilitates frog, helicopter and reverse kicks. On top of that, the included spring straps have two positions, allowing them to be used either with wetsuit boots or larger drusuit boots. I have a new favorite, and they look like they'll be in service for many years to come. Addendum: They're negatively buoyant. I neglected to mention that. Sure, RUB it in for those of us with big feet and have been waiting FOREVER for the XXL's to come out.
I do like to hear this kind of feed back/review on the F1 fins. Thanks for the info on the Batman fins.... I can't wait for mine to arrive somewhere in a dive shop to be purchased....
